Bubbling Issues: Causes, Solutions, and Prevention

Core Causes

Air is trapped during the mixing of the two-part (A/B) adhesive and is not fully expelled.
The joint-pressing process during application is not sufficiently compact, leaving residual air deep within the gaps.
The grout is mixed unevenly, resulting in inconsistent curing rates across different areas.

On-Site Solutions

Small Bubbles: Before curing is complete, use a fine needle to puncture the bubbles, then use a scraper to smooth the surface.
Large-Area Bubbles: Remove the affected material and re-apply, ensuring that the mixing and joint-pressing steps are executed correctly.

Preventive Measures

When mixing, use a figure-eight (∞) stirring motion to avoid vigorous whipping that introduces air.
Use a specialized caulking gun to dispense the material at a steady pace, ensuring the gaps are completely filled.
Before application, use a brush to clean dust and moisture from the depths of the gaps.
